Medicines for your heart

You may be prescribed medicine to keep your symptoms under control and to stop further problems developing.

It's important that you understand what medicines you're taking, why and how they will affect you. You must take them as prescribed and do not stop taking them without speaking to your GP first as this may make your symptoms worse and put your health at risk.
