Withdrawal symptoms from alcohol
Giving up drinking suddenly can be dangerous if you have been drinking high quantities regularly. You should be aware of the following symptoms:
- nausea
- retching
- sweating
- increased anxiety or depression
- difficulty sleeping
- increased blood pressure
- hand tremors
- seeing things that are not actually there
- seizures
