Online testing for HIV

Freetesting.hiv is a targeted service for people most at-risk of HIV. A free at-home HIV and syphilis testing kit is available to order online for Stockport residents aged 16 and over. The test will detect HIV 7 weeks or longer after infection.

How it works

1. Order a test kit online.
2. The test will be sent out by post.
3. Send your sample back to the lab for testing.
4. You will get a result 72 hours after posting your sample back to the lab and a text to confirm when their sample has been received at the lab.

If your result is negative, you will be notified by text.

If your results is positive, you will be called and offered support and help to arrange further testing at a local clinic.
