If you feel isolated, need to unwind or get some guidance, or you’d just like to chat with someone new, call and say hullo. You can chat with a volunteer as often as you like for up to 20 minutes each time.

Independent Age Befriending

If you feel you could do with more conversation in your life Independent Age can connect you with a volunteer who is good company and wants to chat. You can sign up to receive regular phone calls.

Mush is a website and app which helps mothers find friends who live nearby with kids the same age, arrange meetups, get advice from parenting experts and more.

Reengage – over 75s

If you're over 75, Reengage will help you to re-engage with your community through regular social contact, giving you a lifeline of friendship and, vitally, something to look forward to. In response to the COVID-19 crisis they've created a new telephone befriending service for older people called call companions.
