Inclusive community gym session

Seashell’s fully accessible fitness suite, accredited by the Inclusive Fitness Initiative, offers specialist equipment and staff trained to prescribe and deliver exercise programmes for people with disabilities.

Motorised cycles and intelligent, computerised training equipment for senior exercise, rehabilitation and wellness is also available. Seashell’s Fitness Development Officer will take you through an induction which includes a tour of the sports centre followed by a complete a lifestyle and health assessment.

We will also run through your personalised fitness programme. If you have a health condition you may need a referral from a health professional or need to speak with your GP prior to take part in exercise. We would be happy to talk this through with you.
