Local programmes and support
- SOCCER for type 1 diabetes - a four day course covering carbohydrate counting and insulin adjustment to control blood glucose levels
- X-PERT for type 2 diabetes - an innovative six week programme using visual aids to explain how diabetes affects the body and lifestyle changes to manage the condition
- Stockport Tadpole Group - provides help and support to children, their families and carers, living with diabetes in the UK
- Healthy Stockport offers advice about moving more and eating and drinking more healthily
- Weight loss support groups in your area
