The British Lung Foundation is a UK charity which looks after the nation’s lungs. It has a range of information and resources to help you understand more about and manage your COPD.

They also offer:

  • self-help tools that can help you make informed decisions, feel in control of your condition and enjoy a better quality of life
  • a helpline - if you need advice about living with a lung condition call 03000 030555 Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm

British Lung Foundation online community

The British Lung Foundation online community on HealthUnlocked is a place to

  • share your experiences of COPD
  • hear from other people to support you with whatever question you have about your COPD

It's for people living with COPD and other lung diseases and carers.

The NHS website has lots of information about COPD including how you can care for yourself.

My Lungs My Life

My Lungs My Life is a comprehensive, free to use website for anyone living with COPD. It's been developed by Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, the University of Edinburgh, NHS Scotland and the British Lung Foundation Scotland. The site includes a range of information to help you self manage your condition.
