Step 5: Take notice
If you take time to be in the present moment, you can gain a better perspective. Sometimes this is known as being more mindful.
Noticing your own thoughts, feelings, and the world around you can positively change the way you feel about life and how you approach challenges.
You could try:
- writing down one thing you're grateful for every day
- practicing mindfulness using videos created by Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust
- installing the free NHS ‘Feel Good’ app
